Is your birthday in April, or are you celebrating a loved one’s special day this month? The daisy is the primary birth flower for April, symbolising innocence, purity, true love and new beginnings. Representing the cheerfulness of spring, this bloom (specifically Bellis Perennis) is often associated with motherhood and the ability to keep secrets. 

Also this flower inspired the name of my brand, my eldest daughter (now 5) always called Dandelions 'Daisylions' as she got confused between Daisies and Dandelions. The name always stuck with me and Daisylion Designs was born.
