Hi I'm Hayley,
the creator and artist behind Daisylion Designs. I've been drawing and painting my whole life, nurturing my passion through school, college, and university before channelling my creativity into marketing for lifestyle and bridal designers.
When Covid hit, I rediscovered my love of painting — creating personal pieces for friends and family. Then came my two daughters, who quickly became my greatest inspiration. My eldest, at a young age, muddled up "daisy" and "dandelion" to create a new word: Daisylion. I always knew I wanted to paint again, and suddenly I had the perfect name. (She also called woodlice "guinea pigs", but that didn't have quite the same ring to it.)
I've been lucky enough to win competitions with my work, but it's taken until now to find the confidence to share it with the world. With both girls now at school, the time finally felt right — and here we are.
Inspiration
My work is inspired by the natural world, my travels, and wildlife from near and far. My style is free and organic, with a focus on creating movement in every stroke.
Starts with a sketch
Every piece begins as an original hand-painted acrylic, gouache or watercolour design — created in a quiet studio surrounded by rolling hills, wildflowers, and coastal light that inspires so much of my work.
From birth flower cards that celebrate the month you were born, to landscape prints that capture a favourite corner of the British countryside, each design is made with care and printed on premium materials built to last.
